Luxury Cruises from Cyprus in 2027: The Short Answer
Checked October 2026. The luxury cruise lines do not start their voyages in Cyprus. In 2027, Silversea, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Seabourn and Explora Journeys start and end their Eastern Mediterranean voyages mainly in Athens (Piraeus), Venice (Fusina), Istanbul, Trieste and Rome (Civitavecchia). If you live in Cyprus, you fly to the departure port, ideally the day before, and join the ship there.
On the cruise lines' own websites we could confirm two luxury calls at Limassol in 2027, both Regent: Seven Seas Navigator stays overnight on 21–22 January, and Seven Seas Mariner calls on 3 October. Both are stops on voyages between Istanbul and Athens, so you still board in Istanbul or Athens.

These are 2027 voyages published by the cruise lines and their agents in October 2026. They show the kind of routes on offer; availability changes daily, and we confirm every date with the line before you book.
Silversea
- Silver Nova, 25 April – 5 May 2027: Athens (Piraeus) to Venice (Fusina), via Gythion, Katakolon, Kotor, Bari, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Zadar and Piran.
- Silver Nova, 27 June – 8 July 2027: round trip from Athens (Piraeus), via Nafplion, Mykonos, Volos, Thessaloniki, two days in Istanbul, the Dardanelles, Kusadasi and Santorini.
- Silver Dawn, 22 October – 3 November 2027: Athens (Piraeus) to Venice (Fusina), via Santorini, an overnight in Istanbul, Heraklion, Katakolon and Trieste.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Regent is spending its first full winter in the Mediterranean, with Seven Seas Navigator sailing 32 itineraries between November 2026 and November 2027.
- Seven Seas Navigator, 15–29 January 2027: Istanbul to Athens (Piraeus), with an overnight in Limassol and an overnight in Alexandria.
- Seven Seas Grandeur, 27 June – 4 July 2027: Venice (Fusina) to Athens (Piraeus), via Split, Kotor, Corfu, Katakolon and Santorini.
- Seven Seas Mariner, 30 September – 10 October 2027: Istanbul to Athens (Piraeus), via Rhodes, Limassol, Haifa, Ashdod and Alexandria.
Seabourn
Seabourn's 2027 Mediterranean season is on Seabourn Ovation, with 22 itineraries. Seabourn's own pages did not show dates when we checked. Cruise agents list 14-night Greek Isles and Ephesus voyages round trip from Athens (Piraeus) in May, August and October 2027, and a 22-night voyage from Athens to Venice in May–June 2027. We confirm dates directly with Seabourn when you book.
Explora Journeys
- EXPLORA II, from 14 April 2027: 10 nights from Venice (Fusina) to Athens (Piraeus), via Kotor, Corfu, Paros, Rhodes, Bodrum, Patmos and Syros.
- EXPLORA II, 28 June – 5 July 2027: round trip from Athens (Piraeus), via Skiathos, Kusadasi, Mytilene, Istanbul and Mykonos.
- EXPLORA V, 4–11 December 2027: Rome (Civitavecchia) to Istanbul, via Naples, Messina, Athens (Piraeus) and Volos.
When we checked, some 2027 Explora journeys already showed a waiting list.
Which Luxury Ships Call at Limassol in 2027?
On the cruise lines' own websites we could confirm two luxury calls at Limassol in 2027, both Regent:
- Seven Seas Navigator: overnight in Limassol on 21–22 January 2027, on a voyage from Istanbul to Athens.
- Seven Seas Mariner: in Limassol on 3 October 2027, on a voyage from Istanbul to Athens.
Port-schedule websites list more luxury calls at Limassol, but at least one of them (an Explora call in November 2026) has since changed on the cruise line's own site, so we do not rely on them. What "All-Inclusive" Means on Each Line
Every luxury line calls itself inclusive, but the details differ:
- Silversea: butler service in every suite, drinks including champagne and selected wines, onboard gratuities, port taxes and Wi-Fi. Shore excursions are not in the basic fare.
- Regent Seven Seas: unlimited shore excursions, drinks, all speciality restaurants, Wi-Fi and prepaid gratuities. Concierge suites and higher also include one hotel night before the cruise.
- Seabourn: wines and spirits, all dining venues and Wi-Fi. Seabourn says tipping is "neither required nor expected". Shore excursions cost extra.
- Explora Journeys: nine dining experiences, drinks, Wi-Fi and onboard gratuities. A few speciality restaurants and wines cost extra, and shore excursions are not included.
If shore excursions matter to you, Regent is the only one of the four that includes them as standard.
Flying to the Ship from Larnaca or Paphos
Direct flights as of October 2026. Many routes are seasonal and schedules change, so we check current flights when you book.

When to Fly In
The lines' advice differs:
- Regent strongly recommends arriving at least one night before the cruise.
- Explora accepts arrival on embarkation day for flights within Europe, if you allow at least 4 hours between landing and sailing (5 hours in Athens, Istanbul and Rome).
Our advice from Cyprus: fly in the day before. A delayed flight should not cost you the cruise, and for Istanbul, Trieste and Monte Carlo you need a connection anyway. We book the hotel near the port or in the city centre, whichever suits the embarkation time.
Itineraries Can Change in 2027
The situation in the Middle East is already affecting cruise plans. In August 2026, Explora cancelled its 2027–28 Middle East season and moved EXPLORA V to the Mediterranean. Voyages that call at Haifa, Ashdod, Alexandria or Limassol are the most likely to change. Before you pay, we check the current itinerary with the cruise line, and we tell you what the line's policy is if ports change.

Do luxury cruises leave from Cyprus in 2027?
Not as far as we could find. Silversea, Regent, Seabourn and Explora start their Eastern Mediterranean voyages in Athens (Piraeus), Venice (Fusina), Istanbul, Trieste or Rome (Civitavecchia). Regent's ships call at Limassol on 21–22 January and 3 October 2027, but only as a stop.
Which luxury cruise line includes shore excursions?
Of the four, only Regent Seven Seas includes unlimited shore excursions in the standard fare. Silversea offers an "All-Inclusive Plus" fare with a shore-excursion credit; Seabourn and Explora sell excursions separately.
Can I fly from Paphos instead of Larnaca?
For Athens and Rome, yes: Ryanair flies direct from Paphos to both, and Aegean flies Paphos–Athens. For Venice and Barcelona you fly from Larnaca.
How do I get to a cruise that starts in Istanbul?
There are no flights between the Republic of Cyprus and Turkey, so you fly via Athens or another hub. We usually suggest arriving the day before.
Are flights included in luxury cruise fares?
Not by default on Silversea, Seabourn or Explora (Explora's "Sky & Sea" fare is the exception). Regent sells air through its own programme. Booking with us, you get flights from Larnaca or Paphos timed to the cruise, with a hotel night before if you need one.
